Welcome to De La Paz Logistics & Services LLC. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by our company. By requesting, scheduling, or using our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Service Overview
De La Paz Logistics & Services LLC provides professional courier and logistics services, including but not limited to:

Medical courier services (HIPAA & BBP compliant)

Legal and professional document delivery
-
Small-batch and last-mile logistics
-
On-demand and same-day delivery services
All services are subject to availability, operational capacity, and compliance with these Terms.
2. Quotes, Estimates & Pricing

All quotes are based on the information provided by the client, including but not limited to:

Pickup and delivery locations
-
Package size, weight, and contents
-
Delivery timeframe and urgency
-

Quotes are considered estimates only and may be adjusted if:
-
Additional stops are added
-
Actual weight/dimensions differ
-
Wait time exceeds the included limit
-
Delivery conditions change (traffic, access issues, etc.)

Final pricing will be reflected on the invoice issued after service completion.
3. Scheduling & Service Requests

All service requests must include accurate and complete details.
-
Same-day and rush deliveries are subject to availability.
-
We reserve the right to decline or reschedule services due to operational constraints, safety concerns, or incomplete information.
4. Wait Time Policy
To maintain efficiency and punctuality:

The first 10 minutes at any pickup or delivery location are included at no additional cost.
-
After 10 minutes, a wait fee of $1.00 per minute will apply.

Extended delays may result in service cancellation or rescheduling.
5. Cancellation & Service Modifications
Standard Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time: No charge
Late Cancellations

Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup or after dispatch:
-
Subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee

Dry Runs
-
If a driver arrives and:
-
The shipment is not ready, or
-
The location is inaccessible
A Full Base Rate will be charged.

6. Packaging & Client Responsibilities
Clients are fully responsible for:

Proper packaging of all items
-
Accurate labeling and documentation
-
Compliance with all applicable regulations
De La Paz Logistics & Services LLC is not responsible for damages caused by:
-
Improper packaging
-
Inadequate labeling
-
Undisclosed contents
7. Medical & Sensitive Deliveries

We are HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) certified.

Clients must ensure that all medical items:
-
Are properly sealed and labeled
-
Use primary and secondary leak-proof containers
-
Meet OSHA and regulatory standards
-

We reserve the right to refuse improperly packaged medical shipments.
8. Prohibited Items
We do not transport:

Hazardous materials (HAZMAT)
-
Illegal substances
-
Explosives, firearms, or restricted items
-
Any item deemed unsafe or non-compliant
We reserve the right to:

Refuse service
-
Report suspicious or illegal shipments to authorities if required
9. Delivery Conditions & Limitations
Delivery times are estimated, not guaranteed, unless explicitly agreed in writing.

We are not liable for delays caused by:

Traffic conditions

Weather
-
Road closures
-
Acts of God or unforeseen circumstances

Proof of delivery may include:

Signature

Photo confirmation

Delivery timestamp

10. Liability & Insurance

Our liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment, unless additional coverage is arranged in advance.

We are not liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages

Loss due to improper packaging
-
Delays beyond our control

Clients are encouraged to request additional insurance coverage for high-value shipments.
11. Payment Terms

Invoices are issued upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.

Net Terms (Approved Accounts Only)

Payment is due within 15 days (Net-15) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late Payments

Suspension of future services

12. Account Suspension or Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to:

Refuse or terminate service at our discretion

Suspend accounts for:

Non-payment
-
Repeated cancellations
-
Violation of these Terms

13. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All client information and delivery details are handled with strict confidentiality.

Medical deliveries are handled in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

We do not disclose client information except where required by law.
14. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless De La Paz Logistics & Services LLC from:

Any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

Improper packaging
-
Misrepresentation of shipment contents

Regulatory violations

15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
